The Power U Chinese New Year dinner last night was most enjoyable. I got to converse with a Power U lawyer who is working on the Crosswinds federal lawsuit and with a prominent local property developer who thinks the world of Mitch Maidique. I learned a lot, and the food was terrific. We were seated at dinner for four hours -- like one of those Beijing banquets.
The Miami River Inn grounds were gorgeous with a lovely swimming pool and lush greenery and a cute dining tent with multi-colored Chinese banners.
If they do this again next year, I urge you to attend. You will have a great time, marvelous food and meet fascinating people. -Brian Peterson, FIU
